Mission:
Dragon boating is one of the largest team sports in the world today. The LA Dragon Boat Festival strives to build awareness and enthusiasm for this sport in Southern CA. Each boat can carry up to 20 paddlers, a drummer and a steers person. The boats are 40 feet long and approx. 3 feet wide and can travel in excess of 4m/second. Around the world today over 50 million people participate in the sport. We invite all to enjoy what Santa Fe Dam offers in Irwindale, California!
