This 737-acre park is in close proximity to the Carlos Avery Management Area. The park contains significant undisturbed landscape communities identified in the State's County Biological Survey.

Facilities include nature trails, a small picnic area, rustic beach, and a group camp named Camp Salie. The park remains mostly in a natural state.
