Sadlers Creek State Park sits on 395 acres on a peninsula that extends into Lake Hartwell, one of the Savannah River reservoirs. Camping on Lake Hartwell at one of 37 lakefront campground sites, observing wildlife and recreational watersports are only a small sampling of activities to be enjoyed in the park.

The park makes a perfect location for family reunions or other gatherings, offering a lakeside pavilion and two rental picnic shelters.

Fishing Information: Enjoy fishing in Lake Hartwell for several species of bass, bream, crappie, catfish and trout. A valid SC or GA fishing license is required.

Fishing Pier: A 100 ft. fishing pier is available for guests and extends into a deep water cove.

Playground: The park has two sets of playground equipment for guests to use. One playground is located by the Pavilion. The other is located outside of campground loop #2.

Swimming: Swimming is permitted in Lake Hartwell at your own risk. There is no designated swimming area and no lifeguards are on duty.

Bird Watching: Birdwatching is available at the park.

Hiking Trails: The Pine Grove Trail is an easy ½-mile walking trail.

CAMPING:
Camping Information: Enjoy camping on the shores of Lake Hartwell. 52 sites are packed gravel with individual water and electrical hookups. Some sites accommodate RV's up to 40 feet. While tent campers may use the water and electrical site, a designated tent camping area includes central water. The campground is convenient to restroom facilities with hot showers.
