The Gardens at Tanglewood

4201 Clemmons Road

Featuring twenty-six spectacular gardens that showcase seasonal flowers, ornamental shrubs, and a wide variety of trees native to the area, The Arboretum and Gardens at Tanglewood is one of the most beautiful outdoor attractions in Forsyth County. Nestled behind Tanglewood's historic Manor House, the gardens are open to the public year-round and are planted and cared for by Extension Master Gardener Volunteers and other interested gardeners under the direction of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service. The diverse collection of native flora, herbs, trees, and shrubs is maintained for the enjoyment of residents and visitors to the Piedmont and is also used as an outdoor classroom for the education of area adults, school children, garden clubs, and landscape professionals.
