In jazz’s royal family, there’s Lady, Duke, Count and several knights of the piano dubbed Sir. And on the contemporary scene, vocalist Dianne Reeves is the undisputed Queen. Reeves will be joined at Bacchus Landing for an intimate tête-à-tête with Brazilian jazz guitar great Romero Lubambo, a brilliant improviser himself who co-founded the all-star New York Brazilian jazz combo Trio da Paz.

Los Tangueros del Oeste will perform a selection of classic tangos, modern tangos by Astor Piazzolla, and their own original nuevo tangos. Latin Grammy nominees in 2022, Los Tangueros del Oeste were founded by bassist/composer Sascha Jacobsen. Hailing from an illustrious musical family dating back at least five generations, Jacobsen is a bassist who loves expanding on traditional forms.
