Join us for our annual Summer Harvest Festival in downtown Romney, Hampshire County! A weekend of celebration and fun awaits, with an array of activities to delight everyone. Mark your calendars for the first weekend of August to enjoy live music, indulge in delicious treats from our food vendors, admire the talents of crafters and artists at the artisan village, and explore the exciting kids zone. You won't want to miss the car shows, thrilling dog show, and the beauty pageant. Savor the flavors of our beer and wine garden, take part in the energetic 5k race, and shop for fresh produce at the farmers market. Join the street dance and revel in the festivities to celebrate the peach harvest in grand style. Don't miss experiencing a day filled with joy and support for our local businesses at the Summer Harvest Festival.

9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: "Born of Rebellion-West Virginia Statehood and Civil War" on display at Taggart Hall. Presented by the WV Humanities Council
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Peach Pie and Ice Cream Sales outside at Taggart Hall, while supplies last
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Photography Exhibition Presented by Kerri Haza at Romney Federal Credit Union
10:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m: HC Library - Free Kids Activities and Escape Room
11:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m: Soup and Sandwich and Dessert Sale at American Legion Post 91
Vegetable or chili, country ham sandwiches and peach crisp with ice cream while supplies last
12:00 p.m - 2:00 p.m: Romney Rotary Lunch on the lawn at Taggart Hall with HHS band performance
12:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m: Free Kids Zone - Water Inflatables and Barrel Train Rides - Located behind the Library across from 7-11
2:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Peach Sales - Hampshire County’s own orchard grown peaches will be on sale at Corner of Main and N Grafton
2:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Local Food, Community Crafts and Artisan Village
2:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Hampshire County Co-Op Tiki Hut open with food and drinks including Beer and Wine
2:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: Whole pies and hand pies sales on High St.
3:30 p.m - 6:00 p.m: Meet the WVU Mountaineer at 1762 Wine and Brew/White House on Main
3:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m: WV Beer and Wine Garden at 1762 Wine and Brew/White House on Main
4:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Pub Crawl - 1762 Wine and Brew/White House on Main, American Legion, Brass Rail and Romney Moose
5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Civil War Re-enactor’s will be located at Stonewall Jackson’s Headquarters on Main St
6:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m: Town Cruise - Antique cars will be cruising Main St. Register at FNB parking lot
