Join us for our annual Summer Harvest Festival in downtown Romney, Hampshire County! A weekend of celebration and fun awaits, with an array of activities to delight everyone. Mark your calendars for the first weekend of August to enjoy live music, indulge in delicious treats from our food vendors, admire the talents of crafters and artists at the artisan village, and explore the exciting kids zone. You won't want to miss the car shows, thrilling dog show, and the beauty pageant. Savor the flavors of our beer and wine garden, take part in the energetic 5k race, and shop for fresh produce at the farmers market. Join the street dance and revel in the festivities to celebrate the peach harvest in grand style. 8:00 a.m: Pancake Breakfast at Car Show WVSDB - Christmas in Romney Fundraiser
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Whole pie and hand pie sales on High Street
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Local Food, Community Crafts and Artisan Village
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Peach Sales - Hampshire County’s own orchard grown peaches will be on sale at corner of Main and N Grafton
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Peach Pie and Ice Cream Sales outside at Taggart Hall while supplies last
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Civil War Re-enactor’s will be located at Stonewall Jackson’s Headquarters on Main St
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: "Born of Rebellion-West Virginia Statehood and Civil War" on display at Taggart Hall. Presented by the WV Humanities Council
9:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m: Gun Display - Hampshire County made guns at Taggart Hall
9:30 a.m - 10:30 a.m: James Austin - Music on Main Stage (High St.)
10:30 a.m: Presentation by Christy Perry Tuohey - "Civil War Hospitals of the Romney Area" at Taggart Hall
10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m: Pony Car Show Down at Coke Plant (Main St.) - Registration starts at 8am
10:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m: Performances by band Electric Petting Zoo at Coke Plant (Main St.) during Car Show - 1st performance at 11am and 2nd at 1pm

1:00 p.m: Pie Baking Contest - HC Courthouse on Corner of Main and High St. (Pies can be dropped off between 10am-1pm)
