Join us as we explore the diverse music that mirrored the culture of the time – in a series of concerts, lectures and films, concluding with an elegant vocal recital rich with gems from Sembrich’s operatic repertoire – all performed by today’s finest concert artists.

Ragtime (1981)
The Sembrich Film Series
Based on the 1975 E.L. Doctorow novel of the same name, Ragtime takes places in early 1900's New York City amidst racial tensions, infidelity and violence, with fictionalized references to actual people and events of the era.
