The best (and only) science festival in Colorado is back again with 16 days of fun and engaging events designed to showcase STEAM where it's taking place in Colorado Springs and around the Pikes Peak Region.  There are events for all ages- adults, kids, teens and families - and most are absolutely free (some events may have a fee to help the hosts cover their costs). ​

We'll have dozens of exciting science magic shows, laboratory tours and demos, rockets, drone soccer, live animals robots, liquid nitrogen ice cream, Insectapalooza, and lots of other hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) activities and exhibits for kids (primarily K-8th grades).  It's all Free (even the parking) and fun for all ages!

Once Carnival Day is over, the festival events kick into high gear.  There will be events for all ages, pre-K to adults, and most are free.

Engineering your best LEGO creation, completing LEGO challenges, and producing LEGO Art are only some of the possibilities at this open-ended LEGO program using PPLD’s LEGO resources.  Join us for the fun!

Foothills Elementary is turning into a full-blown STEAM carnival—and YOU’RE invited!
Come explore, create, and discover at hands-on stations packed with mind-blowing science, tricky tech, epic engineering, awesome art, and magical math.  Every station is a chance to try something new, get messy (in the best way), and let your curiosity run wild. Grab your friends, bring your family, and get ready for a night where learning is the ultimate adventure!

This special event is free for all families, whether enrolled in D-20 or not, and designed to ignite young minds and spark a lifelong love for science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics.  Join us for an interactive and engaging experience that promises to captivate both students and their families.

Toss it? No Way! Fix it at Repair Café!

Together with our Repair Café volunteers, you will disassemble, troubleshoot, and possibly repair your broken items. Save money, help the environment, and learn repair skills with your local community!
