Our 2025 festival, The Gilded Age, views the world of late-19th and early-20th century America through the career of Marcella Sembrich and the opulence of the era. Join us as we explore the diverse music that mirrored the culture of the time – in a series of concerts, lectures and films, concluding with an elegant vocal recital rich with gems from Sembrich’s operatic repertoire – all performed by today’s finest concert artists.

Join The Sembrich's Director of Institutional Advancement Caleb Eick for an entertaining glimpse into the Gilded Age through Marcella Sembrich's 1909 transcontinental concert tour. 

Hop aboard Sembrich’s private rail car and tour the United States from coast to coast. From rail strikes to lost jewelry, this entertaining talk, chronicling a year in the career of the famous diva, is sure to delight and shine new light on the life on Madame Sembrich.

All proceeds from this event directly support programs and initiatives at The Sembrich.
