The Annual Craftsmen’s Fair began in 1933 and runs for nine days each year, featuring the juried work of hundreds of members with sales booths, interactive demonstrations, and curated exhibitions attracting over 20,000 visitors annually. This video from 2021 captures the essence of the Fair, and provides a sense of the wide range of creative experiences you can expect to find each year.
Daily Demonstrations
Enjoy different demonstrations daily by Craft Guilds and Juried Members. Many of these demonstrations include the opportunity to try the technique yourself, so be sure to ask when you visit the tents. Whisk Broom Construction with Larry Antonuk: Tent H
Larry will demonstrate the type of broom construction made popular and used by the Shakers. His work is featured at the Canterbury and Enfield Shaker Museums as well as the only remaining active Shaker Village in Sabbathday, Maine. You can purchase his work in The Shop at the Fair.
Music at The Fair
The League is excited to offer live music every day of the 2025 Fair. These talented local musicians will be playing daily from 10am-4pm at the Art, Craft & Design tent, adjacent to the food vendor area.
