The Annual Craftsmen’s Fair began in 1933 and runs for nine days each year, featuring the juried work of hundreds of members with sales booths, interactive demonstrations, and curated exhibitions attracting over 20,000 visitors annually. This video from 2021 captures the essence of the Fair, and provides a sense of the wide range of creative experiences you can expect to find each year.

Daily Demonstrations

Enjoy different demonstrations daily by Craft Guilds and Juried Members. Many of these demonstrations include the opportunity to try the technique yourself, so be sure to ask when you visit the tents. Our daily demonstrations are generously sponsored by Dorr Mill Store, NBT Bank and Baker Newman Noyes.

Spinning with NH Spinners and Dyers Guild: Tent D

Leam about the mechanics of spinning, uses for spun and plied wool and the advantages of certain breeds for specific uses like knitting, weaving, rug making Plus, see demonstrations of wool spinning from various sources, including sheep, alpata, and llama.

Sanborn Mills Farm: Tent H

For many generations, Sanbom Mills Farm was a bustling, thriving center of agricultural activities that supported an extended family and served the community. Today, it is a gathering place for instructors, farmers, craftspeople, and historians dedicated to teaching traditional skills. Leam about opportunities to explore old-fashioned ways and their use in modem life and enjoy a craft demonstration with Larry Antanuk.

Music at The Fair

The League is excited to offer live music every day of the 2025 Fair. These talented local musicians will be playing daily from 10am-4pm at the Art, Craft & Design tent, adjacent to the food vendor area.
